| The registration of a business name in the Province of New Brunswick must be renewed within five years from the date the certificate was registered or five years from the latest renewal. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the certificate of registration by the Registar.The Registrar will also permit a renewal to proceed after the five year expiry date provided the business name has not been cancelled by the Registrar. |
| Please note: an individual, corporation or partnership may file online business renewals. If the business name is registered by multiple registrants, eg. an unincorporated association, it must be filed in person or by mail. |
| To file a renewal of your business name online, you will need the following: |
| * The New Brunswick Business Number for the Registrant |
| The Corporate Registry reference number from the certificate of registration of the business name. If you do not have this document you may find your Corporate Registry reference number by searching the Corporate Registry Database. |
| * A Visa, MasterCard, American Express or e-debit to pay $62 CDN for the renewal. |
| * Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.05 or higher (Available here if you do not have it on your computer) |
